PS3 Will Have Hard Drive As Standard
Speaking with Yahoo Games a Sony representative says the PS3 will ship with the 60GB HDD
PS3 Games. According to a source speaking with Yahoo Games, the Sony PS3 will ship with the a 60BG HDD. Earleir this week at a PS3 conference in Toyko, Sony’s president of Computer Entertainment, Ken Kutaragi, announced that all PS3 games are being developed to take advantage of the hard drive.
Another reason for Sony to include the hard drive as a standard is because it will be needed to utilize online services such as downloading in a similar way to Microsoft’s Xbox Live service.
So now we know that the PS3 will launch in early November, and that the 60GB HDD will be included, the only big question left is how much will the console cost?
